Ergowear Review
Ergowear Flex Pacific Swimsuit – A Men’s Swimwear Review
L (I am a 33 waist). While I’m not typically a brief cut swimsuit guy, I was quite impressed with this swimsuit. As you know, Menswear Review has published a number of Ergowear reviews including the new PLUS II line, X3D Bikini, Max Boxer, and more! The Flex Pacific Swimsuit receives great scores, just as the Ergowear men’s underwear have.

Ergowear Plus II Bikini, Brief and Boxer – Men’s Underwear Reviews
Having written several reviews of Ergowear, I have found myself really enjoying their products. Known for their pouch designs, each of their ranges (X3D, PLUS, Max and Max Light) offer a wonderfully comfortable pouch. The PLUS line (Pouch Lifted and UnSeemed) features just that – a seamless pouch to lift your boys up and away to happiness. Like their other lines, the PLUS lifts things up and naturally out to avoid squashing and sticking as can be found with traditional underwear.
New this year is the PLUS II which is an improvement over last year’s design. I’ve found that the material used is softer and more flexible and like the use of the waistband from the Max range – a wonderful mix. The PLUS II line is made from a quality cotton(90%)/lycra (10%)blend. The fabric in this PLUS II version is wonderful and a great improvement over last year’s.With the PLUS, you can position yourself up or down (see picture). While holding things up gives you a larger bulge, it wasn’t something that I was used to and preferred to hang down. What are your thoughts – up or down? If you have experience with this position, let me know. (A) is the standard pouch and (B) and (C) are the PLUS pouch. The pouch in all three of my trials – Bikini, Brief, and Boxer, were all very comfortable and supportive. In short, BIG FAN of the Ergowear pouch.
In style, all three styles I tried – Bikini, Brief, and Boxer were quite handsome. In order to make the seamless pouch, however, Ergowear had to add some elastic around the pouch which leaves a bit of a bunched look; with the Bikini, this is minimized. An enhancement in style over last year is the of the Max range waistband – a handsome black waistband with white Ergowear.com lettering.
For rear coverage, I was pleased with all three. Sometimes bikinis can be a bit skimpy, but not with Ergowear. I’m pleased to report that all three had full coverage that didn’t ride up at all. Definitely all-day comfortable.
In sum, a fantastic upgrade to a great range. Within the PLUS II range you should be able to find the style you like best. For me, it’s a toss up between the three – Bikini and Brief in the summer, but like a Boxer in the cooler months.

Ergowear X3D Bikini – A Review
Ergowear’s X3D, a brand known for its ergonomic pouch, is the focus of this review. I’ve reviewed Ergowear’s Max, Max Light, PLUS, and X3D, men’s underwear and will be reviewing their Flex swimsuit later this week. Each range has their strengths and am impressed by all of them!
Today’s review is on Ergowear’s X3D Bikini. The X3D is made from a polyamid/elastane microfiber fabric. The combination of the two allows for a very soft fabric (like soft silk) that is fast-drying and very breathable – creating comfort and usability for any condition of wearing (casual, daily, sports). The material doesn’t absorb, it wicks the moisture away – keeping you cool and avoiding the wet/sticky feel. The cut of the X3D Bikini is true to its name – very skimpy. While this is a very skimpy, is was very comfortable. What makes Ergowear so comfortable are their ergnomically designed pouches. The X3D features a 3D pouch which holds you comfortably while lifting your manhood away from your legs in a more natural, comfortable position. This design really helps with overall comfort and not feel squished like other brands sometimes do. With the pouch design keeping your boys away from your legs, you don’t get the sticky feeling when the weather gets hot – really, very nice! The picture shows how things should hang (A is standard underwear and B is the X3D).

Ergowear Max Boxer – A Review
The Ergowear Max Boxer is my latest review. As you know, I’ve reviewed several pairs of Ergowear lately and have been very happy with what I found! Well known for their 3 dimensional pouch, Ergowear’s pouch lifts and supports your package in a natural, comfortable position. Figure A is the traditional pouch and Figure B is the Ergowear pouch – a clear difference.
The Ergowear Max Boxer certainly looks and performs like an athletic boxer. The boxer is ergonomically designed to provide a good fit – and it does. The pouch is in incredibly comfortable, as I’ve written before, but so are the legs and rear. I found the leg bands to be comfortable and keep the legs in place. Being a boxer, there is full rear coverage that sits comfortably on your body.
The Max line is made fro a cotton/lycra blend to perform as, well, performance underwear. The Max is a bit heavier of a material than the Max Light which aides in its performance as an athletic underwear. The blend was soft and comfortable and breathed properly. While I’ve written this as an athletic boxer it would be equally as comfortable for daily wear.
Another great pair of underwear from Ergowear. Again on my favorite’s list and can highly recommend. Check out some of my other Ergowear Reviews and see the full collection at Ergowear’s website.

Ergowear Max Light Midcut – A Review
Well, another Ergowear sample leaves me as a happy blogger.
This weekend, I reviewed the Ergowear Max Light Midcut boxer. Like the other Ergowear lines I reviewed, the Max Light Midcut features the awesome 3 dimensional pouch. The pouch is very comfortable as it lifts you up and out – creating natural comfort and support. The 3D pouch was very comfortable for my weekend pick-up game. The pouch, as I said, lifts you up and out. This really helps with supporting you but also with eliminating your testis sticking to your legs. (A) Traditional and (B) Ergowear’s.
The Max Light is similar to the Max fabric – except that it’s lighter. Made from a cotton/modal blend, the fabric was fantastic for my weekend sports – keeping things cool. Combining with the pouch design and fabric make this a great pair for the athletic guy. Now you don’t have to be a jock to wear these. Before my afternoon game, I was wearing these out to brunch. The Max Light Midcut was very comfortable under a pair of pants and would also wear these as daily wear to work. Really, a multi-use pair of underwear.
I found the legs to be snug, yet comfortable. Again, this helped with the overall comfort during the game and when worn under jeans. It’s nice that they don’t bunch up or add bulk. The leg bands kept the legs in place and was pleased with how these sat on my hips.
Ovearall, a fantastic midcut boxer brief. Ergowear continues to be one of my favorite brands. You can read some of my other Ergowear reviews to find the style that works best for you. For me, I’d be happy with any of the styles or ranges in Ergowear’s lineup. Check out the Ergowear website for pricing and other styles.

Ergowear Max Light Bikini – A Review
I’ve been enjoying reviewing Ergowear this past week. Today’s review is on the Ergowear Max Light Bikini. The Max Light is very similar to Max but is made out of a lighter weight fabric – hence the name. If you’re read my previous Ergowear reviews, you already know of the unique 3 dimensional pouch which is designed to lift your manhood into a more natural position but also creating an enhancement to your profile and creating comfort down below. (A) is a typical brief and (B) is the Ergowear pouch.

The Max Light is made from a cotton/modal fabric that is lighter, as I said, than the standard Max line. I really like the lighter fabric of the Max Light. The fabric is wonderfully soft and because it’s lighter it wraps and highlights things nicely - like outlining the head of your manhood. I guess that’s one of the benefits of an unlined pouch.
As with the other lines, I found the pouch very comfortable and supportive. The Bikini is more like a tanga (just the waistband without fabric on the side) which gives it a great look – in addition to the shaping fabric of course. The waistband is 1 1/4″ so it’s wide enough to not cut into you and was also comfortable for me. I greatly appreciated the full rear coverage and was very comfortable in these all day. Al-in-all, another great pair from Ergowear (hey, I rhymed and wasn’t even planning it – haha).
I can easily recommend these and are a pair I’ll be pulling out often. At $20.90 (USD), they’re a good buy. Check out Ergowear’s online store for the full collection.

Ergowear PLUS Brief Review
Looking for a seamless pouch to lift an enhance? Look no further
As I’ve written before, Ergowear has 3 distinctive lines, each with a different feel and each with multiple styles and colors within (jocks, briefs, bikinis, trunks, etc…) – Max, X3D, and PLUS. The PLUS line (Pouch Lifted and UnSeemed) features just that – a seamless pouch to lift your boys up and away to happiness.
While there are many pouch style underwear, they all have the vertical seem and, depending on the brand, can sometimes feel uncomfortable. Like their other lines, the PLUS lifts things up and naturally out to avoid squashing and sticking as can be found with traditional underwear. What I found different about the PLUS line versus the others. With the PLUS, you can position yourself up or down (see picture). While holding things up gives you a larger bulge, it wasn’t something that I was used to and preferred to hang down. I think I’ll give it another try. If you have experience with this position, let me know. (A) is the standard pouch and (B) and (C) are the PLUS pouch.

Ergowear Max Thong Review
Ergowear Max Thong – A Big Hit
As I’ve written in my previous Ergowear review, they have 3 underwear ranges (X3D, Max, and Plus). Ergowear’s Max Thong is my latest review. I must say, I was quite impressed all around with the quality and comfort of this thong.
The thong, like Ergowear’s other ranges, features their exclusive 3 dimensional pouch. The lift effect of the pouch supports and enhances you quite nicely. The waistband was comfortable with Ergowear displayed across the band. The combination of the pouch design and fabric made this a very comfortable thong for all-day wearing – seriously, you forget you’re wearing a thong at all. The fabric is a cotton/lycra blend for a soft and form-fitting feel and look. The thong was of a decent size – not too big that you felt like you had a wedgie and not too small to feel like you were flossing. The thong I tried was in black but they also make the Max Thong in white.
As I’ve written in previous reviews, each of Ergowear’s ranges are quite different from each other. The Max range, as I’ve mentioned, is made from a cotton/lycra blend. The fabric on the Max is a bit heavier for compression vs the Max Light which is made from a modal/lycra fabric – creating a softer feel and look. Regardless if you go for the Max or Max Light the 3 dimensional pouch is designed to work the same. If you look at the pictures, the pouch is meant to lift you up and out in a natural position. This really helps with elliminating the squashing/sticking problems of traditional underwear. The pictures below show (A) traditional and (B) Ergowear.
I have some reviews on the Max boxer, Max Light brief and Max Light midcut coming out later this week so you can look for those too. Both the Max and Max light come in a variety of colors and cuts (thong, brief, bikini, jock, midcut, boxer). All-in-all, I am once again very happy with my Ergowear. Definitely a hit and a favorite of mine.
