Gregg Homme Volumator: a Men’s Underwear Review

Look for a little enhancement for your package?  Gregg Homme may have the answer for you.  A few months ago, Gregg Homme released the Volumator – a collection of men’s enhancing underwear.  While the Volumator comes in a thong and trunk, today’s review is on the Volumator Brief. The Volumator is essentially a padded brief to gives guys a bit more confidence down below.

Fit: The Gregg Homme Volumator Brief fit is hard for me to describe.  The Volumator features a removable pad to either wear as a padded brief or as a regular brief.  Without the padding, I was rather comfortable in these.  The pouch was adequate and the rear coverage was decent.  With the pad, it was a bit unusual for me.  Because of the added bulk of the pad, the feeling under your jeans is certainly different.  I felt somewhat like I was wearing a soft cup.  The rating below is really a blend of the two.  With the pad, I’d rate these at a 5; without the pad, I’d rate these a 8.  So, the blended score is a 7.

Style: As with many of Gregg Homme styles, they’re designed to catch CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Gregg Homme Afterhour Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

The Gregg Homme Afterhour Brief was recently added to the Gregg Homme line up this past summer.  The Afterhour Brief is a super-sexy lowrise brief that doesn’t leave too much to the imagination; though there is enough left to want the onlooker to ask for more.  :-)

Fit: The Gregg Homme Afterhour Brief fit incredibly well.  While the brief is a lowrise cut, it sits at a comfortable level and provided me with full coverage in the rear.  The pouch, made from a soft mesh, was adequately sized and supported me well.

Style: As with many of Gregg Homme lowrise styles, they were very lowrise and provided a great look, especially when you factor in the fabric selection.  The pouch is a soft black mesh and the remainder of the brief is made of a semi-transparent mesh/sheer combination (see pictures).  As is typical with Gregg Homme, this is an incredibly sexy brief that easily will make it to the front of your underwear drawer. Gregg Homme BoyToy Boxer Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

I’ve written several times now about Gregg Homme and their incredible sexy underwear designs they keep coming out with.  My latest find is the Gregg Homme BoyToy boxer brief.

The BoyToy Collection, by Gregg Homme, features a lightweight wet-look fabric (85% Polyamide/15% Spandex) that fits snugly and comfortably.  The material has that barely-there feeling to it which is not only nice for general comfort, but is great when you’re wearing tighter fitting clothing or jeans.  Due to the lightweight nature of the fabric and the careful placement of seams, the boxer briefs molds nicely to your body while enhancing your pouch AND your backside!  I found the pouch to be snug while still providing enough room.

The overall style of these boxer briefs are minimalistic.  A sexy, short boxer brief complimented by super-lightweight wet-look material really does create one hot piece of underwear.  The Gregg Homme BoyToy Boxer Brief comes in a majestic Royal blue, vivid Magenta, bright Aqua, Black or Pewter.

If you’re looking for a little bit less coverage, you can also find the BoyToy collection as Jockstrap, Brief and Thong styles.

All-in-all a fantastic new collection and boxer brief for Gregg Homme.  I’m a 34″ waist and often float between medium and large depending on the brand.  I tried these in both medium and large and prefer the medium – though both actually fit me fine.  If you prefer a snug feel and your on the fence stick to the size chart.  If you’d prefer a bit more room you could size up – again depending on where on the size chart you fall.

Gregg Homme Glam Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

The Gregg Homme Glam Brief is one of the latest items to be released from uber sexy men’s underwear designer Gregg Homme.  The Glam Brief a lowrise brief, but there’s lowrise and then there’s really, really lowrise.  Sexy has hell, but do you sacrifice comfort?  Short and sweet answer is NO.

The Gregg Homme Glam Brief is one of the lowest cut briefs I’ve come across in a very long time.  Some brands sacrifice comfort in order to create a super sexy lowrise brief.  The Glam brief, however, gives you both – and does quite well at it too.  The Glam collection comes in a striped or “paint splashed” semi-transparent material that allows just enough view to tease the onlooker.  Made from 95% polyamide, 5% spandex, the material allows for a comfortable stretch to wrap and hold things in place without a restrictive feeling. Without hesitation, this is an incredibly sexy brief.

The contoured center-seamed pouch was provides minimal coverage, an added boost, and excellent comfort.  I shold mention that when I say minimal coverage, I mean a barely-there coverage; let’s just say you may want to keep the forest trimmed for the best look.  While there is barely enough material to cover the goods, I found the Glam brief incredibly comfortable.  The pouch was large enough to cover me comfortably and add a bit of a boost.  Some designers have super-minimal coverage but do so at the expense of pouch roominess.  With the Glam brief, however, I had the best of both worlds.

Speaking of the best of both worlds, how often do you come across a super-lowrise brief that gives you decent butt coverage?  I have to hand to Gregg Homme; the designers were able to use high-cut legs to give the lowrise in front but maintain full coverage in back.  I wore the Glam brief both for evenings out and also under my business suite.  In both situations I was extremely comfortable;  Way to go Gregg Homme!

Overall, another awesome collection from Gregg Homme.  The Glam brief comes in the Brief I reviewed, but also comes in a Thong, Boxer Brief, String and Muscle Shirt in the same color options. I highly recommend the Gregg Homme Glam Brief. Sizing was accurate with the following size chart. I am a 34″ waist and tried these in size Medium and was very comfortable.

Gregg Homme Commando Trunk: a Men’s Underwear Review

Gregg Homme CommandoYou may recall the Gregg Homme Torrid Boxer Brief review I did a bit ago, which I loved of course.  Well, my latest review on the Gregg Homme Commando Trunk brings me as much pleasure as the Torrid Boxer Brief! What brings me to this conclusion? Mostly it’s the same awesome material!

Made from a sensual feeling blend of 80% Polyamide and 20% Spandex, this material is is paper thin to truly give you a commando feeling; no really, I mean it.  You get all the benefits of going commando without the irritating feeling that can bring from rubbing against your clothing; simply put, you get your cake and can eat it too!

Gregg Homme CommandoThe Commando comes in a trunk, a brief, a jock or even a string bikini.  While this review is on the Gregg Homme Commando Trunk, I would imagine all of the styles are going to be just as awesome as the trunk was.  So you may ask me, if I loved the Torrid Boxer Brief so much, why would you consider going Commando?  Well, the Commando Trunk actually gives you a bit more coverage and the pouch is a tad more reserved (I say a tad because the material is still super thin, stretchy and a bit sheer) you won’t find too much modesty here.  There are times when the Torrid would be preferred, but for daily wearing (end evening wear for that matter), the Commando Trunk is a rather universal design – sexy, yet conservative.

As I said before, the material is super thin which provides a subtle sheer look to it with a sexy shimmer to it. The material adds quite a bit to the overall fit and comfort. This new material is made with their new 8-way hyperstretch material that provides you a sexy look and feel.  As I often do, I wore these under my daily business suit, under jeans, and under slacks for a night out; I was incredibly comfortable in each setting.

Overall, an awesome, sexy trunk. Gregg Homme has another winner from their latest designs. I highly recommend the Gregg Homme Commando Trunk.  Sizing was accurate with the following size chart. I am a 34″ waist and tried these in size Medium and was very comfortable.

Gregg Homme X-Rated Maximiser Thong: a Men’s Underwear Review

Maybe instead of saying, “Gregg has done it again” I should be saying, “Gregg Homme does it consistently well time and time again!”   The Gregg Homme X-Rated Maximiser Thong is one hot, sexy undergarment. Known for being rather proactive in their styles, Gregg Homme hit’s home with another sensual thong.  While thongs generally leave little to the imagination, the X-Rated Maximiser thong leaves even less.

Made from a sensual sheer mesh material (85% nylon, 15% spandex) this thong provides not only the sexy look, but a sexy feel as well.  A soft sheer mesh wraps and lifts your package gently.  The Maximiser feature, which is a crossed-elastic support system, takes your package and comfortably amplifies the look.  I was quite pleased with the stitching and craftsmanship that went into this thong.

While there are some brands with copies of the X-Rated thong, it is in look; they aren’t the same in craftsmanship and material choice.  I really like how the material in the X-Rated Maximiser wraps around your package to highlight all that is good. As I’ve found with mesh, mesh does provide for some additional stimulation to the nerve endings.  While these are extremely comfortable, you are fondly reminded of what your wearing and what, hopefully, will be awaiting you.

For comfort, in addition to the comfortable pouch, this thong has a narrower side  and a decent sized thong in the rear.  The width of the thong-part, is wide enough to avoid the piano-string feel and narrow enough you don’t feel like you have a wedgie all day.  I’ve worn these all-day under a business suit as well as for a night out.  In both instances, I found these very comfortable fora all-day or night wearing.

Where to buy: The Gregg Homme Pump Up Jock can be purchased from the following stockists in black, khaki, red, or royal. And, while these tend to run in the $30 plus range, you are definitely getting a high-quality product that’s worth the price.

Gregg Homme Pump Up Jock: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Shayne

Gregg has done it again – he has pumped up his design and it will definitely pump up the look of your package while adding extra comfort. The Pump Up collection features Advanced Enhancing Technology to help boost your bulge. The crossed elastic microfibre pouch not only makes it more comfortable to wear but creates further definition for your tackle. You will love the way you look in these beauties!!

The Pump Up Jock does exactly what the name suggests. The Pump Up Jock features soft elastic waistband with the Gregg Homme logo repeated across the waistband. The waistband is ultra-comfortable with no scratching or digging in, as sometimes happens. The design is your typical jock however a quite a bit more stylish than other brands such as Bike. The lightweight material used throughout the jock makes this very cool to wear in the summer months and would be prefect for those “jocks” out there. They are available in white or black with a bright red waistband, leg straps and g-string. The classic jock has taken a modern approach with the typical leg straps commonly found with jocks but with the addition of a g-string. The leg straps are connected to the briefs making it appear as if they are not jocks from the front. I found this unique and something that took a bit to get used to. However, the 1.5” leg straps  were a bit tight and tended to cut into my legs. Additionally the g-string was a little too loose. The overall design of the garment is to profile and lift your butt – which it does magnificently.  I do think there is a bit too much going on, however, it does help to provide great shape to your butt. So, it really comes down to a personal preference.

The Gregg Homme Pump Up Jock is made from a blend of Polyamide (73%) and Spandex (27%). The lightweight Polyamide material together with the elasticity of the Spandex provides total comfort for the wearer. It molds to your shape and creates manly definition especially in the pouch. The workmanship on this product is flawless with no stray cottons or mismatches in the material. Gregg Homme is total quality and one brand that all men should have in their underwear draw.

Pump up your physique, pump up your look and hopefully they will pump up your sex life!

Where to buy: The Gregg Homme Pump Up Jock can be purchased from the following stockists:

These are perfect for guys that love their jocks yet want something a little bit different where you will still look like a rock star in the gym. Your rear will look absolutely sweet in these babies!! I wore a small and they fit but there was a little too much room in them; however, my partner wore them and they were perfect on. I would be going for a smaller size than you would normally wear just to be safe.

Gregg Homme Maximiser Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Shayne

Gregg Homme MaximizerMaximise what God gave you and make a statement. Gregg Homme has a talent in creating garments that are not only comfortable, sexy and functional to wear all day while at work, but also sexy enough to present a visual feast for your lovers eyes when those pants come off.

Style: The Maximiser is not your average brief.  Gregg Homme have designed a total HOT mini-style brief. They have included aerated holes throughout the garment to add a very sporty feel to this super-sexy garment. The maximising effect is achieved through the use of an elasticised ring hidden inside the pouch of briefs. The ring not only helps support your scrotum but has a hidden feature of pushing your tackle up and forward making your package look even bigger. The brief one layered cut to the garment creates that svelte V-shape which gives a sexy outline to your treasure trail to the goods that lie beneath.

The briefs feature a 1” white fabric waistband with the “Gregg Homme” logo sown across the centre of the waistband which is nearly unnoticeable. Gregg Homme MaximizerAdditionally, they have a small logo “Gregg” in the centre of the waistband, which complements the base colour of the brief: a brilliant royal blue. The brief feature a fuller seat than some of his other design and they are great to wear all day long or a busy day in the gym or on the court. The material, a blend of Nylon and Spandex, allows the garment to breathe making this totally comfortable to wear in any weather conditions. The aeration holes are small enough to give enough privacy yet large enough to give the viewer a little sneak peak what lies beneath.

It definitely leaves nothing to the imagination and your partner will love you for your adventurous spirit. The enhanced maximizing effect given in the pouch provides greater definition to the male form. The mesh is still fine enough to leave some mystery what lies beneath. In true sporting form, the Maximiser brief comes in two basic colours black and blue. These babies are a definite MUST to maximize your talents. Wearing these babies in the locker room, at home in the bedroom or to work will definitely make you feel like a HOT jock, but will be something that your partner will want to rip off you.

Fit: You will be pleasantly surprised how comfortable and cool these briefs are to wear. It takes awhile to get used to the mesh fabric, however, it is does become somewhat erotic. The cut of these briefs are extremely comfortable and I did not experience any movement at all, apart from where you would expect. I would dare to say that the Gregg Homme Maximiser briefs are the best mesh design on the market. However, I did find it took me a while to get used to the elasticised ring built into the pouch.

Material and Quality: Gregg Homme have used a blend of Nylon (78%) and Lycra (22%). The material provides ultimate comfortable whilst remaining super sexy. There are no minor flaws in the machining and finish to this product. These brief I must say are one of the most comfortable maximizing briefs I have ever worn. Maximise your comfort, Maximise your profile and reap Maximum benefits. Your lover or admirer wont be able to keep their hands off you.

Where to buy: The Gregg Homme Maximiser can be purchased from the following stockists:

I would buy one for each day of the week, they are 100% comfortable yet sexy! A bargain for $34.95 USD.

Gregg Homme X-Rated Maximiser Brief: a Mens Underwear Review

Reviewed by Shayne

X-rated by name, X-rated by design. Unleash the wild adventurous man inside of you and drive your partner mad with passion and desire. Gregg Homme has stepped out of the box and created a very sexy yet rather comfortable brief that will maximise your God given talents.

Style: The X-Rated Maximiser is not your average brief but something that will drive you and your partner WILD with desire. The briefs feature a 1” fabric waistband with the “Gregg” logo sown into centre of the waistband. The material, a blend of Nylon and Spandex used in the waistband, the “X” design in the pouch and in the trimming around the legs adds to its comfort. There is no scratching nor is the design uncomfortable to wear. The trimming continues around the legs, which further accentuate your rear profile making it look even hotter.

The “X” pouch is designed to emphasise your package nestled in the mesh pouch below. It definitely leaves nothing to the imagination and your partner will love you for your adventurous spirit. Additionally, the “X” pouch provides greater definition to the male form. The inclusion of mesh material across the rear of the garment, on the sides of the brief and in the pouch make this brief extremely cool to wear. The mesh is still fine enough to leave some mystery what lies beneath. The trimming in the waistband, around the legs and the trademark “X” design is available in a range of colours such as black, blue and khaki. If you are not a briefs guy, they also come in a SuperJock, Thong or Boxer. Whatever colour or style you choose I am sure your partner will die from shock when those pants come off!

Fit: You will be pleasantly surprised how comfortable and cool these briefs are to wear. It takes a while to get used to the mesh fabric, however, it is does become somewhat erotic. You cannot help but grow from this experience. The material covered elastic waistband adds to their comfort level. The meshed material in the rear of the garment, the sides of the briefs and the pouch are softer than others on the market. The cut of these briefs are extremely comfortable and I did not experience any movement at all, apart from where you would expect. I would dare to say that the Gregg Homme X-Rated Maximiser briefs are the best mesh design on the market.

Material and Quality: Gregg Homme have used a blend of Nylon (85%) and Spandex (15%). The spandex material used in the “X” design, the waistband and the leg trimming helps to reduce any discomfort. The material provides ultimate comfortable whilst remaining super sexy. There are minor flaws in the machining and finish to this product with some of the stitching in the mesh giving way. This is the cream of the crop underwear for those underwear connoisseurs out there. The X-Rated Maximiser is a definite MUST for guys that want something different. Be adventurous – get Xcited, get a bit X-Rated.

Where to buy: The Gregg Homme X-Rated Maximiser can be purchased from the following stockists:

Gregg Homme Torrid Boxer Brief – a Men’s Underwear Review

I have been a fan of Gregg Homme for some time now.  I enjoy their fresh, provocative styles.  Affirmation of a good brand is often made with other brands mimicking successful styles – as has been the case with several of Gregg Homme’s latest styles.  I have been fortunate to get my hands on a couple different pairs of Gregg Homme’s most recent collections, including Torrid.  Gregg Homme’s Torrid Trunk is the focus of today’s review.  I will have reviews on some of the other new collections coming out soon.

On to the review…. the Torrid Trunk lives up to its name quite admirably.  When I think of Torrid, I think of hot, sexy and oh so provocative; this is the Torrid Trunk!  The trunk cut is a bit of a stretch.  While it is a trunk, its far from the standard coverage a traditional trunk provides – in this case, that’s a good thing!  The Torrid Trunk is a super lowrise trunk made from an 80% Polyamide / 20% Spandex blend; the result is a super lightweight fabric that stretches and molds to everything it can wrap around, and I mean everything!

Overall fit: The material is super thin which provides a translucent look to it with a subtle shimmer to it; you can see a bit to pique your interest, but not too much that it keeps the mind wondering. The material adds quite a bit to the overall fit and comfort. With its lightweight and stretchy nature, the material makes the trunk very comfortable despite being so lowrise.  The super lowrise cut is one of the lowest I’ve experienced; let’s just say you’ll want to keep things trimmed if you know what I mean!  What I really liked was that while it is super lowrise, the trunk cut allowed for full rear coverage and the stretchiness of the material allowed the trunk to stay in place (sometimes super lowrise tend to want to fall down too much).

The pouch is definitely designed to show the goods.  Well defined and roomy make the pouch not only quite sexy, but comfortable as well.  When I review products, I like to wear them in various situations to see how they do overall.  I had the opportunity to wear these for an evening out, but also for a normal work day under my business suite.  In both cases, I was very comfortable.

Overall, an awesome, sexy trunk.  Gregg Homme has a winner again with the new Torrid Trunk.  If you’re not a trunk guy, there is also a Thong and Brief style available in the Torrid range in the same shades of black, white, taupe, red and sky blue.  I highly recommend the

Gregg Homme Activ Biker Boxer Brief

Gregg Homme’s Active Biker boxer brief get’s high marks from me! Gregg Homme’s Activ collection features a silky material made from 48% micromeryl, 40% polyamide, and 12% elastane.  The highlight of the Activ collection is the unique V-pouch that helps enhance your manhood with the V-shape pouch and a V-shaped sheer window into man land.  The fabric is really the best part of this biker boxer brief.  I really liked the sheerness of the material with a criss-cross pattern which exposed enough to heat things up without too much exposure so you could entice their interest in what is yet to come.  So, from a style and fabric perspective, these score big!  For comfort, I was equally pleased.  I found the pouch to be very comfortable and, being a boxer brief, there rear coverage was great.  For the leg bands, they stayed where they should and didn’t ride up.  I can easily recommend these for daily wear or for a special evening.  These are most definitely on my favorite’s list.

Gregg Homme Apollo Mesh Biker Boxer Brief

Gregg Homme’s Apollo Mesh Box Brief is hot! You may recall an earlier review on Gregg Homme’s Apollo Brief.  The Biker Boxer Brief features the alluring, impressively soft, comfortable mesh fabric as their brief.  The twist from the brief is that the Biker Boxer Brief features a reptile skin styled pouch.  The fabric, made from 97% nylon/3% elastane, was very comfortable all day.  I didn’t have any itchy problems with Gregg Homme’s mesh like I have with others.  The black on black combination is very attractive, along with the reptile skin adds to your wild side of fun!  For fit, I found them to be quite comfortable.  I definitely recommend this to my friends and have added it to my favorite’s list.

Gregg Homme Apollo Brief

Gregg Homme’s Apollo Brief is sizzling! The mesh brief screams good time!  I have tried a number of wide-mesh briefs over the years and this is by far one of my favorites.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the close-knit mesh briefs but have had mixed experiences with the wide-knit mesh.  What impressed me most is how soft and comfortable the mesh fabric was.  The fabric, made from 97% nylon/3% elastane, was very comfortable all day.  Sometimes the wide-knit mesh can be irritating or itchy after some time but not Homme.  I also enjoyed the gold snake-skin look waistband.  The black and gold combination is very attractive and adds to the wild side of fun!  For fit, I found the brief to be quite comfortable.  The brief sits low on the waist and has a full seat (which I appreciate).  Overall, a fantastic brief for a fun time out (or in).  I definitely recommend this to my friends and have added it to my favorite’s list.

This brief would be fabulous for Valentine’s Day!
