Bonobos ‘The Corps’ Pants – A Men’s Clothing Review
Bonobos The Corps pants will become part of your core wardrobe…
Bonobos stress the importance of having properly fitting pants and urges buyers to use a local tailor for final hemming. The Corps, however, are available with a finished hem – sometimes, you just don’t want to or have time for a tailor. When I ordered these, they came promptly and were packaged well with tissue paper.
I ordered my size, 34×32, hopeful they would fit well — I typically don’t order something of the internet that I haven’t tried on before. Knowing that Bonobos had an easy exchange policy, I was comfortable with giving it a try. I’m happy to report, the pants fit very well.
For me, I selected the Montgomery Brown. You can also get these pants in Eisenhower Tan, Patton Stone, or MacArthur Steel.
The Corps pants are available in either a straight leg or a slight boot cut - I chose the athletic straight leg cut. What’s interested about these pants is that the measurements were dead on. Sometimes when I pull pants off the rack at my local department store, a 32″ inseam bunches at the foot – ok if you’re a hip-hop singer, not ok if you’re anyone else. Pants shouldn’t bunch at the foot, they should only have a single break at the front of the shoe (crease of fabric). In the back of the shoe, the hem should rest where the heel meets the lower part of the shoe. This is where I found my new Bonobos. The Corps come in 4 different inseam options – 30, 32, 34, and 36.
For the waist, Bonobos put a slight curve at the waistband to make them fit better. The waistband is nicely lined with proper stitching. At the front, you’ll find the signature Bonobos “B” button for closure. Around the waist, you’ll find 5 wide belt loops. I really appreciate the wider belt loops to accommodate my wide belts – creating a casual, youthful look. I wear a narrower belt with typical dress pants, but prefer to wear a wider belt with my more casual pants.
If you’re new to Bonobos, get ready for some fun, interesting looks. While I’m not so sure that I’d wear pink pants, it may be fun to have a pair of their green for St. Patrick’s day or their American flag pants for our 4th of July. Even if you’re not a ‘wild on the outside’ kind of guy, you can still have a bit of fun with their more conservative pants, like The Corps.
The material Bonobos uses inside these pants, and most all of their pants, are a contrasting, hip pattern. For my pants, I had a red and yellow plaid liner with a purple zipper (which you don’t see unless you’re taking your pants off – you’re the only one who knows). As little bonus, Bonobos sews in a smaller pocket within the right front pocket where your coins drop – avoiding the jingling as you walk; I really like when brands add the smaller inner pocket.
The overall fit of these pants were comfortable and flattering. For a guy like myself who doesn’t have much of a derriere I found these pants quite flattering. All too often, pants off the rack leave me with a bit of a saggy looking butt – causing me to have to tailor my pants, and adding to the overall cost. With the Bonobos Corps, I actually had a real butt! Through the thighs and legs, I also found these pants to fit remarkable well.
All in all, I can confidently recommend these, and other Bonobos products to you. Through my experience with these pants and their swim shorts, I’ve found Bonobos to create high quality products that simply fit well! While they’re clothing isn’t cheap, it’s well worth the money you’ll pay – $88. Why pay $50 for a pair of Dockers and have ill-fitting pants and a saggy butt when you can spend a bit more and get a proper pair of pants?

Schultz Greatwhite Jeans – A Men’s Clothing Review
Are you ready for an awesome, and incredibly unique, pair of men’s jeans? I have them for you! I had the pleasure of trying a pair of men’s jeans from Schultz Jeans and Underwear. Schultz has a wide collection of men’s and women’s jeans and underwear. While this review is on the Schultz Greatwhite designer jeans, I have a review of some of their underwear coming up soon (heads up, they’re awesome too).
The Schultz Greatwhite are a bright white pair of designer jeans. Made from a high quality 98% Cotton/2% Elastane blend, they look and feel wonderful. The Greatwhite has a slightly narrow leg which gives it a great, stylish look. The jeans sit somewhere between an traditional rise and a lowrise, which I found to be quite comfortable. The Greatwhite jeans feature 6 pockets, with one being a zippered pocket, and a button fly.
The jeans are purchased by waist size only. I ordered my 34″ waist and was worried what the length would end up as – afraid they’d either be way too long or way too short. Pleased, the length was spot on and bunched slightly at the foot as they should.
What really makes the Schultz Jeans unique is their Schultz strap. For guys that like to wear their jeans low or even unbuttoned, you’re going to like the Schultz strap. The strap is designed to replace the traditional belt and can be word in the front or back of the the jeans. There are two buttons on each side of the jeans in the back to wear the strap and cinch the waist back. There are also two inside buttons on each side of the front for wearing the strap inside of your pants. The video below helps explain this a bit better.
The quality and overall fit and finish are outstanding. High quality cotton and stitching are really very noticeable in these jeans. I can honestly say these are one of the best pair of designer jeans I’ve worn. I definitely recommend these to you and are on my favorite’s list. Priced at £93 or $135 USD (roughly) they’re reasonably priced for a pair of designer jeans. Also look for some reviews on Schultz underwear – outstanding! N2N Bodywear 2010 Dream Collection – A Review
While the Dream Collection has been out for a bit, this is the first time I’ve tried the N2N Dream Collection. Today’s review is on the N2N Dream Collection in silver (new color for 2010). I’ve been impressed by N2N’s Sheer Pants and their Trainer Sweats and was eager to try the Dream Collection. Not surprising, I’m in love with yet another N2N product. The Dream Collection is incredibly soft and silk-like and is perhaps one of the softest materials I’ve felt. Pure heaven is all that comes to mind when I think the N2N Dream Collection. The material is a blend of 92% polyester/8% spandex and has a bit of shimmer to it. Seriously, it feels like you’ve wrapped yourself in utter luxury when you wear these.
I am a 34″ waist and tried the mediums which fit perfect and were just the right length. I could have gone down to a small and still would have been satisfied. My recommendation is not to size up if you’re uncertain – if anything select your real size or go down one (small=34″, med=35″, large=36″).

Joe’s Jeans Rocker Slim Fit Jeans Review
Joe’s Jeans Rocker Slim Fit Jeans fit really well. I selected the King wash for it’s awesome dark coloring. The Rocker fit sat comfortably across my hips and are a bit more slim in the hips and knees than a traditional cut and then opening at the bottom with a boot-cut. The seat fit was equally as comfortable as how these sat on my hips. These 5 pocket jeans feature a logo plate on the coin and back pocket with a zip fly and button closure. The denim is 98% cotton/2% elastane. Machine washable and durable make these very easy to care for. A very stylish pair of jeans and one of my favorites!

Dockers Original Khaki Pants …
Dockers Men’s Flat Front Original Khaki pants (#40581) are a fairly basic pair of casual pants and pretty much what you’d expect for a basic pair of Khaki pants.
