Intymen Fill it Flex Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

 Reviewed by Jorge Gallegos

The Intymen “Fill it Flex Brief”  not only has a pouch to give support to your boys, but also has a C-ring that enhances your package.

FIT: After you figure out how to place your goods in the C-ring, gives a great support and lift to your package.  However, “I’m a grower, not a show-er”, so if your all the contrary to me or have big balls, the room for your “boys” might be a little small, and the lateral openings might be an issue if you get too excited.

STYLE: It’s a fantastic low-rise brief cut that even though it focuses on the front part of your body, doesn’t lack of comfort and fit on the back.

FABRIC: Made of 83% Polyester and 13% Lycra Spandex, it looks bright and shinny with a fantastic CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Cover Male Thong: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Mark

The Cover Male Thong is very comfortable. I chose to wear these on a day that I was going to be doing a lot of walking around and I never regretted it. They are super comfortable with no rear coverage and adequate front coverage. The material is soft lycra with extra stretch and support both all the way around.

Fit: The Cover Male Thong covers nothing in the back with adequate coverage in the front. It is very comfortable with plenty of stretch in pouch.

Style: This is a thong pair of underwear which offers no coverage in the back and nice, comfortable coverage in the front.

Fabric: The Cover Male Thong is made of 83% Polyester and 17% Spandex. It is soft and stretch and super comfortable.

Quality: The Cover Male Thong appears to be of good quality and stitching seems pretty secure. It is high in Lycra so you do NOT CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Cover Male Running Shorts: a Men’s Clothing Review

Reviewed by Mark

The The Cover Male Running Short seems really skimpy for running. Granted, I am not a runner but would think that this short would not leave much covered up when running. There is no interior pouch so something must be worn underneath. I think it can be worn as a regular pair of underwear, which I did, but everything does not stay in place. The alternative would be to wear these as sleepwear.  The material is soft lycra and the sides have a nice split for easy movement of the legs.

Fit: The Cover Male Running Short covers the front and back completely. It is comfortable but offers no support for the boys.

Style: This is a running short which offers coverage in all the right places but CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Cover Male Bikini: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Mark

The Cover Male Bikini is basically the same as the Brazilian Bikini but less skimpy. There is an adequate amount of coverage on the sides and in the rear and the front has full coverage. The material is soft lycra with extra stretch and support. I liked the coverage of this bikini better than the Brazilian one as I do prefer a little more coverage that will stay in place (different than a thong).

Fit: The Cover Male Bikini covers the front completely with adequate coverage in the back. It is
comfortable with plenty of stretch in all the right areas.

Style: This is a bikini pair of underwear which offers enough coverage in all the right places. Everything is held in place and there is no binding or discomfort at all.

Cover Male Peek Jockstrap: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Mark

For my first jockstrap I got to try the Cover Male Peek Jockstrap and all I can say is why haven’t I tried one before now? I am totally in love with the jockstrap and especially this one. The Peek Jockstrap had a little window between the waistband and the pouch – so you can peek in to see what’s there. The leg straps are very comfortable, as is the waistband. There is plenty of room in the pouch for everything to be kept nice and comfortable.

Fit: The Cover Male Peek Jockstrap covers the front completely with a little peephole for added
enjoyment. It is comfortable with plenty of stretch in the pouch and the leg straps CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Cover Male Waisted Up Boxer: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Mark

A few weeks back, we wrote our first review on the hot new brand, Cover Male. Well …. today we have the pleasure of publishing our second review of Cover Male underwear on their Waisted Up Boxer.

The Cover Male Waisted Up Boxer is super comfortable. There is full coverage all around. This is more like a trunk than a boxer, in my opinion. The material is soft lycra with extra stretch and support all the way around.

Fit: The Cover Male Waisted Up Boxer covers everything completely. It is comfortable with plenty of stretch in all the right places.

Style: This is a boxer pair of underwear which offers full coverage in both the back and front. The legs and waist are both very comfortable and are not restricting at all. I totally enjoyed CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Petit-Q Trunk: a Men’s Underwear Review

Guest Review by James

A couple of months ago, Menswear Review published the release of Petit-Q’s new underwear collections. The line promised sexy, unique underwear to really spice things up. Since that initial post, Menswear Review has published several wonderful reviews of Petit-Q.  Well, today’s review is sure to please with the Petit-Q Trunk.

The Petit-Q Trunk is a trunk that has it all – well, I guess it is missing something in back. :-)   The trunk is a ultra low-rise trunk cut that not only has a built-in bulge booster, but also an exposed back door.  The bulge-boosting strap is sewn into the trunk at the sides and allows for freedom of range of movement.  The strap gives you a boost in girth (as you’d expect from a pseudo cock-ring) without being overly restrictive.  It’s actually comfortable enough that you could wear it comfortably for a fun night out.

The front of the trunk is ultra low to the degree that you’ll see the top of the bulge strap – a sexy view if I do say so.  In back, you’ll find it cut out to give a sexy look and ease of access.  In addition, there are three snaps across the back CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Stonemen Colts Low-Rise Trunk: a Men’s Underwear Review

I wrote my first review of Stonemen about 2 years ago and loved them then. Today, I’m excited to write the review on Stonemen’s latest  – the Colt Low-Rise Trunk!

Fit: The Colt Low-Rise Trunk fit me very well.  Last time I tried Stonemen, I wore a large.  With the change in fabrics (see below) I found the medium to be absolutely the right size (their size charts are accurate).  As a 34″, I often fall between a medium and large.  The over fit of the low-rise trunk was wonderful.  As a trunk style, you have full seat coverage for all day comfort.  The trunk has a traditional flat front (no ergonomic pouch).  Because of the fabric used and the cut of the trunk, my package was very comfortable and well supported.  As a low-rise, these sit at your hips for a comfortable fit and allows you to wear under jeans and lower-cut pants.  All around, I found these very comfortable.

Style: One of the things I love most about Stonemen is their use of digitally printed illustrations. The colors are always strong and the illustrations unique.  The Colt line (available as a trunk or boxer-brief) is their Western illustration with graphic Western Colt pistols at your side, along with other Western insignia.  As a low-rise, along with the playful Colt illustration, I found these to be a fun and playfully sexy pair of underwear. Sitting lower on your hips and short, trunk legs with your packaging hanging at the same level creates a great look – enough to have someone grabbing for your pistol. :-)

Fabric: The fabric used this time around is a lighter weight fabric than used in the past.  Made from a quality blend of cotton and 5% Spandex, the new material is perfect for any season, forms to your body well, and provides a wonderful soft cottony feel. I’m really, really quite pleased with the modifications made to their cotton-blend material!

Quality: Again, I found these to be very well made.  The stitching and piping are all well done.  In addition, I washed these quite a few times to see how the color would hold up (sometimes a downside of digital illustrations on fabric).  I’m please to report that these held up very well.  I can also report that the pair I received nearly 2 years ago have also held their color very well.  Kudos to Stonemen.

Overall, I love these new Stonemen Low-Rise Trunks and the fun, Western Colt collection.  Stonemen are a premium brand and bring a price to match ($45 AUD / $47 USD).  I can say, though, that you most definetly get what you pay for in both quality and uniqueness.  Anyone can buy a pair of red, black or white underwear, but how many have Colt pistols strapped to their sides? :-)

Cover Male Brazilian Bikini: a Men’s Underwear Review

Reviewed by Mark

A few weeks back, we wrote about the hot new brand, Cover Male. Well …. today we have the pleasure of publishing our first review of Cover Male underwear!

The Cover Male Brazilian Bikini is skimpier than a regular bikini.  There is small amount of coverage on the sides and in the rear and the front has a full pouch.  The material is soft lycra, which is extra stretch and supportive.  I was concern about the lack of coverage in the back that it might ride up but ensuring the sides were at my hips instead of my waist made the rear fit quite comfortable.

Fit:  The Cover Male Brazilian Bikini covers the front completely with less coverage in the back.  It is comfortable with plenty of stretch to be comfortable but not too loose in all the areas that count.

Style: This is a Brazilian bikini pair of underwear which offers less coverage in the back than a regular bikini.  I love that there is less coverage as it creates a sexy look.  There is adequate coverage in the front and rear.

Fabric: The Cover Male Brazilian Bikini is made from 83% Polyester and 17% Spandex.  It is soft and stretch and super comfortable.

Quality: The Cover Male Brazilian bikini appears to be of good quality and stitching seems pretty secure.  It is high in Lycra so you don’t want to wash it in hot water or tumble dry as it will break down quicker.

Overall, this is a great bikini. I look forward to all that Cover Male has to offer as I believe it is top quality and so glad to have this in my repertoire!

Bum Chums Fruity Collection Thong: a Men’s Underwear Review

A few weeks back, we wrote on the Bum Chums Fruity Collection – in particular, the brief and hipster. I really like the material in the Fruity Collection for it vibrant color options and the stretchiness of the material that wraps things quite comfortably. Today’s review is on the Bum Chum Fruity Collection thong (I tried the Purple Plum).

Fit: The thong was very comfortable.  The pouch provided me ample room, gave good support, and moved with me when needed (due to the stretchy material).

Style: The Fruity Collection thong may not win any styling awards, but it certainly won’t come in last either.  The overall look of the thong is rather tradition in both the front and back.  What provides this a leg up (excuse the pun) is stretchy material, vivid colors and contrasting stitching.  Overall, quite pleased with the look it provided.  Also, if purple isn’t your color, you can also get these in Cheeky Cherry, Blue Berry, Lemon Lush, and Pink Peach.

Fabric: The Bum-Chums Fruity Collection thong is made from a Nylon/Elastane/Lycra mix.  The result is, as I stated above, a soft and stretchy material.  I found the material to be very comfortable all around.

Quality: Having now reviewed a number of Bum Chum collections, I can say with confidence that these are well made for the price you’re paying for them.

Overall, I liked the Fruity Collection thong.  They were comfortable for all-day wearing, had a very comfortable pouch, the thong sat comfortably all day in the rear, and they are easy on your pocketbook.

Intymen Centerbury Boxer: a Men’s Underwear Review

My latest review of Intymen is on their Centerbury Boxer. To start off, the Intymen Centerbury Boxer were really comfortable. I love the hot pink waistband and trim. My wife loves it, too. The boxer brief is stretchy, providing full coverage in both front and back. The material is like a grey snake skin with hot pink accents and waist.

PetitQ Kini: a Men’s Underwear Review

Having written a few reviews of Petit-Q now, we’ve found them to be a unique brand that is sure to spark the interest of many guys.  Today’s review is on the Petit-Q Kini, which is super skimpy. There is minimal side strings to hold the front and back together. The material in the front and back is super soft. As for the back, it will tend to ride up, though, which can be a challenge with this cut of underwear.

Fit: The Kini covers the front pretty well. It is made to cover most of the back but due to the nature of the material and minimal elastic used it doesn’t do the best job. It is comfortable but I did have to do some adjustment in the back from time to time.

Style: This is a string bikini pair of underwear. I love string bikinis as I enjoy the less coverage all around. There is adequate coverage in the front and rear. The strings are super tiny but do keep the front and back together pretty well.

Fabric: The Petit-Q Kini is made (Insert material here). It is soft and stretch and super comfortable.

Quality: The Petit-Q Kini appears to be of good quality and stitching seems pretty secure.

Overall, this is a nice bikini and I am glad I gave it a try. I just know now that I need to be willing to make some adjustments during the day and enjoy the overall feel and comfort of this string bikini.

Petit-Q Invisible Boxer: a Men’s Underwear Review

The Petit-Q Invisible Boxer is the latest item for us to review from Petit-Q’s new lineup.  The Invisible Boxer is a very skimpy sheer mesh boxer that is sure to get other’s attention.

Fit: The Invisible Boxer sits very low on your hips and is definitely a minimalistic fit.  If you’re looking for minimal coverage with just enough material to pique your partner’s interest, this is for you.  The boxer is a cheeky fit in the rear which creates great lines across your butt with the rear center seam pulling things in to better accentuate your buttocks.  In the front, you have an enhancement pouch where your scrotum sits in to create a large bulge. The fit is fine for an evening out, but wouldn’t want to wear it like that for all-day wearing.

Style: The hemming and sides of the boxer are rather interesting.  The sides are a split side – similar to that of retro gym shorts.  The mesh comes in a nude color. It would be nice to see these offered in additional colors.  The nude is fine, but if these came in some other colors, I think these would look even hotter.

Fabric: The fabric is a mesh made from a blend of 85% Polyamide and 15% Elastane.  The result is a fine mesh material that is fairly soft and pliable.  You generally need to be cautious with mesh as it can tear from the seams due to the delicate nature of the material.  It appears they’ve used  a high enough grade of mesh that you won’t have any problems with durability.

Quality: The Invisible boxer seems to be well made.  The stitching looks to be well done, the separate pouch panel is well constructed, and the hems are well made.

Overall, these are a sexy little boxer for a fun nite out (or in).  They are definitely a minimalistic fit so be ready for that. That is, however, what makes these sexy. With some additional color options, I think these will be a great seller for Petit-Q.

TOOT Back Slit Nano Boxer: a Men’s Underwear Review

Having review quite a few items from TOOT’s collections, I have come to appreciate them as one of my favorite top 5 brands.  They are in my top 5 for sex appeal, fit, quality and value.  With TOOT, you really do get it all.  Today’s review is on one of their newest items, the Back Slit Nano Boxer.  The Back Slit Nano is a sexy little nano boxer that has a mesh rear panel and a slit that separates the waistband from the bottom, exposing your buttocks just a bit.

Fit: The Back Slit Nano fit as I would expect any TOOT underwear to fit – excellent!  The ergonomic pouch design continues to be a favorite of mine as it holds you so comfortably, provides great support, and gives just a bit of lift to help show things off.  The legs and sides are a traditional TOOT Nano fit.

It’s in the rear that they’ve changed things up a bit.  As you can see in the picture, the silky nylon top material that runs across the back is seperated with a seamed slit from the mesh material that covers the bottom of CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

NAKED Boxer Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

Guest Review by Mark

I got to review the Naked Boxer Brief in black and really enjoyed the comfort.  I was surprised by the fact that it has no traditional waist band – instead it’s a thin elastic band sewn into the top.  The boxer brief is stretchy, providing full coverage in both front and back.  The only draw back is that I have a little extra junk in the trunk and some hips so it took a little effort in getting them on since there is no give in the waist area.

Fit:  The boxer brief offers full coverage.  It rides at the natural waist.  The waist is super comfortable because there is no elastic to bind or anything.  It is comfortable and supportive.  The leg comes to just below the hip joint and does not bind because there is no elastic there as well.

Style: This is a boxer brief which has shorter legs than the normal boxer.  There is full coverage in the front and rear.

Fabric: The Naked Boxer Brief fabric is 40 gauge Microfiber and 14% spandex.  It is stretchy in all the right places except CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Bum-Chums Terra Firma Hip Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

Guest Review by Mark

I was asked to review the Bum Chums Terra Firma Hip Brief and I must say I mixed opinions on them.  The hip brief is made of a metallic material.  The metallic material is certainly unique, but it doesn’t breathe very well.  It is shiny and blue and that is nice but on warm days there is going to be issues.  I would recommend these as a special evening event wear and not every day wear (this also follows Bum Chums recommendation).  They  also require special care as you really can’t wash them in a machine as it will ruin the metallic finish.  So hand washing the inside of the brief is recommend and no scrubbing the outside

Fit:  The hip brief offers full coverage.  It sits just below the waist.  The leg openings are higher than the hipster.  I experience a little binding.

Style: This is a regular brief style.  There is full coverage in the front and rear.  They are not form fitting as the material does not allow for that. The metallic material is what gives this a higher score CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Bum-Chums Black Cotton Hipster: a Men’s Underwear Review

Guest Review by Mark

Our love of Bum-Chums continues with the Black Cotton Hipster!  I was asked to review the Bum Chums Black Cotton Hipster and all I can say is wow are they comfortable.  I love anything black and this is no exception.  The hipster is made of soft cotton, providing full coverage in both front and back.  The body of the hipster is smooth and very comfortable and allows the boys to breath.  The waist band is comfortable and does not seem to roll.

Fit: The hipster offers full coverage in front and back. It sits at your natural waist. It is comfortable and supportive and is made of breathable cotton. The leg comes to the about upper-mid thigh and provides ample amount of room without riding up and binding.

Style: This is a regular trunk style. There is full coverage in the front and rear. It has a nice CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Petit-Q Riviera Brief: a Men’s Underwear Review

You may recall the post we did in January on the new line of underwear coming from Petit-Q. The line promised sexy, unique underwear to really spice things up. Our review on the String Ohlala gave credence to their promise.  Today, our review on the Petit-Q Riviera further strengthens the notion that Petit-Q really does create some sexy, unique underwear!

Fit: The Riviera is an open brief concept that has brief coverage on one side, but is completely open on the other half.  The brief fit well and would be comfortable for an evening out (or in).  I don’t think these would be the type, though, that you’d want to wear as daily-wear – unless, of course, you have a noon luncheon if you know what I mean.

The exposure of the half-brief is a blessing at times and sometimes a bit too little of coverage.  The material splits at the pouch.  This makes it easy for things to fall out or have easy access to – depending on your point of view of course.

The rating below is based on these being an evening-out style of underwear.

Style: The Riviera pushes the norm of men’s sexy underwear.  Think of Riviera as CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »
