Olaf Benz Red 1183 Mini Pant: a Men’s Underwear Review

Having reviewed a few different pairs of Olaf Benz now I have become a huge fan of this brand.  Perhaps what strikes me the most with this brand is their material selection – always lightweight and high quality.  Then, of course, there’s the overall cut to create incredibly comfortable underwear!  Well, today I’d like to introduce you to the Olaf Benz Red 1183 Mini Pant; Wow!

Fit: The Red 1183 is a classic cut mini pant in bright red that sits comfortably on your hips and accentuates your rear by beautifully with the rear center seam. The pouch is contoured to provide comfort and support.  The sizing chart was accurate for fit.  If you like your underwear to fit CONTINUE READING THE REST OF THE REVIEW »

Olaf Benz RED 1065 Ministring Thong: a Men’s Underwear Review

You may recall my review of the Olaf Benz Red 1065 Sportbrief, today’s review is one from the same Red 1065 line, the Ministring (thong).  The RED 1065 Ministring, Olaf Benz’s new material, is made from 86% Polyamid and 14% Elasthan; this creation results in a wet-look, sexy, smooth material that’s sure to catch an onlookers eye.  This material really does give these  an attractive wet look, especially when you factor in the ultra thin material Olaf Benz uses.  This material is available in black, red, and mint and comes in a variety of their different styles.

The wafer-thin material was very comfortable on the skin and can easily say this is a fantastic feeling fabric for Olaf Benz.  As a guy who does wear thongs on a somewhat regular basis, I have mixed reviews on the Red 1065 Ministring.  The sides and thong portion were very comfortable.  The pouch, however, was a little too small.  The pouch wasn’t tight or too form-fitting, but rather lacked enough material to hold everything in.  Now, for some guys, you may not mind see the goods from the side, for me, though, I prefer to have the whole packaged enclosed.  Aside from the size of the pouch, I can say that the material was comfortable on the skin and does provide from some great aesthetics.

All-in-all, a pretty good thong for Olaf Benz. With a bit more of a pouch, I would have given these tens across the board.

Olaf Benz RED 1065 Sportbrief – a Men’s Underwear Review

In my first reviewed a pair of Olaf Benz Brazilbriefs, I wrote,“I’m in heaven!” Having reviewed a few different pair of Olaf Benz briefs, I continue to be impressed.  The Passion Lab Brazil Brief (0979) and RED 1067 Brazilbrief are the latest of my Olaf Benz brief reviews.  I also reviewed their boxer brief, which was awesome too!  Time after time I am impressed with what I find in Olaf Benz.  Olaf Benz continues to be in my top 5 favorites!

Today’s review is on the Olaf Benz RED 1065 Sportbrief.  The RED 1065 sports Olaf Benz’s new material, made from 86% Polyamid and 14% Elasthan; this creation results in a slick, sexy, smooth material that’s sure to catch on onlookers eye.  This material really does give these briefs an attractive wet look, especially when you factor in the ultra thin material Olaf Benz uses.  This material is available in black, red, and mint and comes in a variety of their different styles.

The Sportbrief cut is new for me.  Having tried the Passion Lab Brief and Brazil Cut Brief, these wear a bit differently.  The overall fit and look of these are that of a lowrise brief, with a barely-there feel.  The briefs sat low on my waist, but were comfortable, and as narrow on the sides as the other two I tried (Passion Lab and Brazil).  What I really enjoyed about this cut of brief is that there was a true full seat which allowed for all day comfort.

Sitting low on the waist and not much material to cover, I was concerned on what the pouch would be like.  While the pouch isn’t a defined ergonomic pouch, there’s plenty of room and stretch to hold things in place comfortably.

All-in-all, another hit for Olaf Benz.  These are not only comfortable, but really a nice look in terms of style and material.  The lightweight draping and member-molding material, this was a nice look. ;-)

Olaf Benz RED 1067 Brazilbrief – a Men’s Underwear Review

As I wrote when I first reviewed a pair of Olaf Benz Brazilbriefs, I’m in heaven! Last July, I reviewed a pair of Olaf Benz – the Passion Lab Brazil Brief (0979).  Today’s review is on the Olaf Benz RED 1067 Brazilbrief – the 1067 is the new material that they came out with this past fall.  After trying literally hundreds of brands, Olaf Benz continues to be in my top 5 favorites – if not top 3!

Let’s start off with the overall fit and comfort of the Brazilbrief and end with the wonderful new material (1067).  The cut of the brief is the same as I found in the 0979 Brazilbrief.  The Brazilbrief cut provides you a minimal rear cut and higher sides.  While the coverage for the butt is minimal in comparison to their other cuts, it was adequate for me – and I’m rather picky on having a comfortable seat.  Perhaps the main reason I found the minimal rear coverage comfortable is the lightweight material being used – more on that later.

The pouch on the Brazilbrief is also a minimal coverage.  While again minimal, there is sufficient coverage to be comfortable and supportive, given the stretchy nature of the material.  With a smaller coverage in the pouch, your onlookers also get a sneak peak at the goods. :-)

This new line is really a super fabric that stands out due to its softness and high elasticity. It is a fine Jacquard with a slightly raised, wavy look.  Take a look at the close up picture to get a better idea of what the material looks like.  Made from a blend of 86% polyamid and 14% elastane, I found the material not only lightweight, but had a wonderful stretchiness to it to provide a wonderful look.  And, being lightweight, there is almost a sheerness to the material.  The new RED 1067 comes in the Olaf Benz White, a deep Olaf Benz Royal Blue and the new Olaf Benz Mint, which runs through the whole collection.

All-in-all, another awesome pair of Olaf Benz. If you want sexy, super comfortable underwear, you’ve found it!!

Olaf Benz 1066 Buttonpant – a Men’s Underwear Review

I have really become a huge fan of Olaf Benz. There are some brands I really like, and then there are those that I love!  Olaf Benz is one of those brands that I absolutely love!

My most recent review is on the Olaf Benz RED 1066 Buttonpant from their latest Sep/Oct release.  The pair I tried came in Jaffa which is a cool shade of orange.

As I think about what I like best about the Olaf Benz Buttonpant, I’m having a hard time creating the hierarchy – I love so much about this pair of underwear.  Let’s start with the material.  Like other Olaf Benz I’ve tried, I really like the quality and weight of the fabric they use.

The quality of the material is outstanding and really holds up well wash after wash.  The weight of the fabric is very light and leaves you with a barely-there feeling – not to mention the light weight also aides in the accentuation of your manhood.  The material is made from a blend of 95% Polyamide and 5% Elastane which gives it great softness and elasticity.

The overall fit and comfort of the Olaf Benz Buttonpant rates high as well.  As a boxer-brief or mini-pant cut, the Buttonpant provides you full coverage for all-day comfort.  The legs of the underwear fall just below your buttox and don’t ride up during the day.

olaf benz buttonpant closeupIn front, there isn’t a pronounced pouch, but the material used does provide for comfort and conformity to your package.  As you can see from the close-up picture, this creates a sexy look while bringing you comfort and support.

For style, the Buttonpant does come in black, white, mint, and orange (at least for the Sep/Oct collection).  One top, which makes it a Buttonpant, are two buttons.  The bottons really serve no purpose, but certainly add to the overall look.  The combination of colors, cut, material and the buttons, make this a stylish pair of underwear.

The underwear cost about $46 USD (£ 28.99  with VAT included).  For some guys, this may be a bit steep.  I can tell you, though, that the quality and workmanship that goes into Olaf Benz make them worth the price you pay.  Pay a bit more now, but you’ll be happy you did later – especially as they wash and wear so well.

You can purchase these directly from Olaf Benz at www.olaf-benz.net

Enjoy! :-)

Olaf Benz Brazil Passion Lab Brief – A Men’s Underwear Review

I’m in heaven!  This week, I’ve tried my first pair of Olaf Benz – the Passion Lab Brazil Brief (0979).  I’ve always been intrigued by the look of their cuts and the choices of fabrics used.  After trying literally hundreds of brands, Olaf Benz is in my top 5 favorites – if not top 3!

Aside from the sexy cut, what impressed me the most from this pair of Olaf Benz was the incredible material.  The fabric is a blend of 86% polyamid and 14% elastane.  The combination, along with high grade material, creates a luxuriously soft semi-sheer material that feels like I’m not wearing anything at all, seriously!!  The ribbing of the material is very small and creates a hint of sheerness – leaving quite the view for the onlooker.  The ultra soft material wraps gently across your body, highlighting all of the special places.  Without a doubt, this material really creates a sexy look!

The cut of the brief is exquisite.  When I saw that it was a Brazil Brief, I was concerned it would lack rear-end coverage.  While the rear coverage is minimal, there is enough to cover mine.  Even if the material was short on the rear, I don’t think I would have noticed it as the material is SO lightweight!  So, with the more minimal cut in the rear plus the sheerness of the material, your posterior couldn’t look better.

In front, the pouch was very comfortable.  The feather-light material and contour of the pouch made these one of the most comfortable I’ve worn.  Again, adding in the cut of the pouch with the sheerness of the material, it was a pleasant view! :-)

All-in-all, I can say you’d be crazy not to try a pair of Olaf Benz - I don’t know what took me so long!  If you want sexy, super comfortable underwear, you’ve found it!!  At roughly $36 USD (€ 28.69) they are on the more expensive side but are definitely worth the money spent – truly look and feel like luxury underwear.
