Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief – A Men’s Underwear Review

Sexy, comfortable underwear is what I asked for and it’s exactly what I got!  You may recall that a few months ago I wrote about Expose Underwear – a new men’s underwear brand coming out of Columbia.  Expose Underwear has the motto of ‘Dare to Expose.’  The range of styles offered by Expose span from somewhat daring  to nothing to hide.  I have been fortunate to try a few which cross gamut of exposure.

This first review is on the Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief. This low rise is a modest low rise.  Some of the low rise briefs I’ve tried are extreme and leave you with an uncomfortable fit.  The Expose low rise brief is quite comfortable where it sits on you hips – giving you the sexiness of a low rise but the comfort of a regular brief.

Made from a striped sheer microfiber (91% polyamide, 9% elastane), the material leaves the view with a hint of a sheer look through the alternating sheer horizontal stripes.  The material was quite soft and comfortable for the vary uses I put it through – casual and sports.  The pair I tried came in white which enabled me to wear these under white shorts without my underwear showing – loved it!

In addition to the wonderful material, and sexiness of the sheer lines, I really liked the contoured pouch.  The pouch was comfortable and supportive for all-day comfort. In the rear, I found full coverage which added greatly to the all-day comfort factor.   A good product really boils down to a good pouch, ample coverage in the rear and quality material – all of which the Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief had.

All-in-all these are a fantastic pair of men’s underwear.  The Expose Horizontal Low Rise Brief is sexy, comfortable, and well-made.  I have some reviews coming up on their sheer low rise, sheer jock and sexy boxers.  For more info and to look at other styles and colors, check out the Expose Underwear Website.  You can find this pair online at Freshpair for $25.50.

BumGear Mesh Boxers- A Men’s Underwear Review

Every once in a while I like to repost a previous review when a product really needs another round of applause.  For me, this is my pair of BumGear Mesh Boxers.  I pulled them on again today and continue to be impressed by not only how sexy they are but also how incredibly comfortable they are.

BumGear
has, perhaps, the best pair of mesh boxers I’ve worn.  I must say, I originally bought these for a special weekend away.  I had anticipated these to be super sexy but not very comfortable – boy was I wrong!!

The mesh material is extremely soft with good stretch (94% polyester/6% spandex), the waistband is comfortable, and they fit perfectly.  These  men’s boxers provide a comfortable pouch that supports you, but can also accommodate any, er, growth that may occur.

Being a boxer, there is obviously full coverage for you too.  When I first wore them, I was concerned when I saw the rear seam between the cheeks.  I love when brands do this as it really accentuates your butt, but sometimes you feel like you have a wedgie as a result.  I can comfortably say, pun intended, that not only did my arse look hot in these, but I was extremely comfortable and wasn’t bothered a bit by the seam.

These are so comfortable they are now part of my daily wear selection (in fact I’m wearing them now). And, quality is outstanding on these.  Some of my other mesh underwear tends to fall apart after a bit, but these have been washed and worn many times and they look like the day I bought them.  I picked these up for $28.  They’re on the higher end for price, but worth every penny.

You really need to check these out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed! In loving these so much, I really need to do myself a favor and get a hold of some of the BumGear styles.

Tribe Burn Out Brief – A Men’s Underwear Review

Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to review a number of underwear styles from Tribe.  Without exception, I have been pleased with what I find from Tribe: quality, unique fabrics, comfort.  Tribe is another quality men’s brand from down under.

Today’s review on Tribe’s Burn Out Brief is no exception to what I’ve historically found with Tribe.  The Burn Out Brief that I tried is part of Tribe’s Standard Brief Cut.  The Burn Out fabric is also available in the Slim Side Cut for those that like a bit less material (more of a bikini fit than brief fit).  The Standard Brief cut is different from what you may find in other brand’s brief cut.  I would tend to say that it is somewhere between bikini and lowrise brief (see pictures).  The main difference is that the Standard is cut wider on the hip than the Slim Side.

On comfort, I found the standard brief in the Burn Out fabric to be very comfortable.  While it’s a lowrise, there is adequate rear-end coverage and it sits high enough that you don’t feel like they’re falling down (sometime too much of a lowrise creates this feeling).  For pouch comfort, it’s adequate and comfortable.  It’s not a true pouch front but it’s not a flat front either.

What I liked most about the Burn Out Brief is the fabric.  Tribe really has some very unique fabrics that you don’t find anywhere else.  The Burn Out fabric is sheer with patterns of velvety material on top.  The combination peeks the viewers interest with out giving away the whole picture.  Let’s just say they left my wife wanting to see more. :-)  The fabric is very soft and has a luxury feel to it.  Truly, very comfortable for all day, or all night.

Like most Tribe underwear, the Burn Out Brief has made my favorite’s list and can easily recommend them to you.  Priced at roughly $24 (USD) they are an excellent buy considering the comfort, quality, and unique material.  To find out more about Tribe’s Burn Out Brief or any of their other designs, check out their website.

/baskit/ SnugFit Seamless Fishnet Trunk – A Men’s Underwear Review

Last week, I acquired a pair of Snugfit Seamless Fishent Trunks from /baskit/. I must say, when I saw the name “Snugfit” I was a bit skeptical about how comfortable they’d be; I don’t care for overly tight underwear.  Well, I’m happy to report that these are anything but overly tight!

While the Snugfit Trunks are skin tight, they’re not restricting.  The trunks are made from a blend of 90% polymide and 10% elastane which creates a very stretchy material.  Combined with the fishnet material, the fabric stretches and wraps around all your parts.   As a seamless product, the flow of the material is continuous for a great look and to free you from discomfort of seams.
In addition to being very stretchy, the material is quite soft.  Sometimes when you wear fishnet material you can have an itchy feel.   /baskit/, however, has created an incredibly soft and comfortable fishnet that you don’t feel the “fishnet” part of the material – but oh boy, you still get the look.  When you first pull the underwear out it looks a bit small and you don’t notice the fishnet look until you put them on.  When wearing them, as you’ll see in the pictures, stretch around all part and through the weaving, show off your skin; A very sexy look.

In front, the pouch isn’t so much a “pouch” pocket.  The pouch is solid material, creating comfort for all-day wearing, which stretches around your manhood to support you.  The pouch was very comfortable and supported me well.  For the waistband and leg bands, I found them to be very soft and comfortable.  Of special note is the tagless design of the waistband – no itchy product labels.  I found the leg bands to hold the legs in place and not ride up during the day.
For sizing, I tried the medium and found them to be true to size.  As a 34″ I often hover between medium and large (depending on the brand).

All in all, a wonderful men’s underwear trunk.  These have happily found a place in the front of my underwear drawer and will be selecting these often.  The are on my list of favorites and can easily recommend them to you.  If you’re more of a briefs guy, they also make these in briefs.  You can find out more at /baskit/ — www.baskitwear.com.

McKillop U/W Pouch – A Review

Earlier today, I reviewed the McKillop No 1.5 jock and was quite impressed!  For a relatively new men’s underwear brand, McKillop U/W, they have some great products.  I was fortunate to try their 1.5″ jock and their 3″ pouch.

The McKillop Pouch No. 3 is their thick waistband pouch underwear.  The pouch is made from the same soft mesh blend of 86% polyester/14% spandex as their jock.  The mesh again offers just enough to peak the interest of observers yet maintain a masculine look to it.  The Pouch No. 3 is available in white and orange – they also produce a thin waistband in black and pink.  To be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d like the 3″ waistband but to my pleasant surprise I did!

On fit and comfort I was again quite pleased.  The thick waistband is aesthetic and adds to the overall comfort.  I’ve tried other pouch (or sock) underwear but nothing quite like this.  Usually pouch/sock underwear simply covers your manhood and can be difficult to keep in place – especially when you get, er, “happy.”  The pouch cups you comfortably to keep everything in place.  This is really a strength especially when you want to wear these under shorts – you don’t have to worry about too much bounce.  What I really liked is that the McKillop Pouch No. 3 comes with a support loop that is designed to stop any embarrassing popping out.  What I liked is that it also works as a built-in cock ring – enhancing your profile.  The support loop was easy to get into and was comfortable to wear too – it is optional and the pouch works fine without it too.

All in all, a wonderful pouch that is not only really, really comfortable but also works incredibly well as enhancing underwear.  I will definitely wear these under shorts, tighter jeans, and as evening wear and even daily wear.  If you’re not a huge fan of the 3″ waistband they also make a 1.5″ thin waistband.  Either way, you can’t go wrong.

To learn a bit more about McKillop U/W, check out my previous post on their jock.

Black Chunky Mesh Brief Review

Tribe is one of my favorite brands. I really like how Tribe tries to go beyond the ordinary and use some great cuts and fabrics. My most recent review of Tribe in on their Chunky Mesh Brief.  With this being a mesh brief, not much is left to the imagination. :-)  The entire brief is made from the soft chunky mesh.  The pouch, however, is lined with 100% modal material for comfort and to leave something for the imagination.  I found the chunky mesh and the modal lining to be quite comfortable for a mesh brief.  I am a 34 inch waist and often hover between sizes.  Typically, I’ve worn the medium in Tribe (32-34).  The cut of the Chunky Mesh brief seemed to be a bit tighter and probably could have gone with the large instead (34-36).  Tribes sizing is true to size so stick with the chart.  If you fit into to sizes, I’d probably go a size up on the Chunky Mesh brief.

For wearing, I don’t know that these would be my first pick for a long day in a business suit.  For a night out under a pair of jeans, I’d easily grab these.  I always find it a bit exciting knowing that you’re wearing something hot in anticipation of events yet to come (wink).

Normally $39.95 AUS, they’re now on sale for $25.95 AUS (aprx $23 USD)

Gregg Homme Activ Biker Boxer Brief

Gregg Homme’s Active Biker boxer brief get’s high marks from me! Gregg Homme’s Activ collection features a silky material made from 48% micromeryl, 40% polyamide, and 12% elastane.  The highlight of the Activ collection is the unique V-pouch that helps enhance your manhood with the V-shape pouch and a V-shaped sheer window into man land.  The fabric is really the best part of this biker boxer brief.  I really liked the sheerness of the material with a criss-cross pattern which exposed enough to heat things up without too much exposure so you could entice their interest in what is yet to come.  So, from a style and fabric perspective, these score big!  For comfort, I was equally pleased.  I found the pouch to be very comfortable and, being a boxer brief, there rear coverage was great.  For the leg bands, they stayed where they should and didn’t ride up.  I can easily recommend these for daily wear or for a special evening.  These are most definitely on my favorite’s list.

Gregg Homme Apollo Mesh Biker Boxer Brief

Gregg Homme’s Apollo Mesh Box Brief is hot! You may recall an earlier review on Gregg Homme’s Apollo Brief.  The Biker Boxer Brief features the alluring, impressively soft, comfortable mesh fabric as their brief.  The twist from the brief is that the Biker Boxer Brief features a reptile skin styled pouch.  The fabric, made from 97% nylon/3% elastane, was very comfortable all day.  I didn’t have any itchy problems with Gregg Homme’s mesh like I have with others.  The black on black combination is very attractive, along with the reptile skin adds to your wild side of fun!  For fit, I found them to be quite comfortable.  I definitely recommend this to my friends and have added it to my favorite’s list.

Gregg Homme Apollo Brief

Gregg Homme’s Apollo Brief is sizzling! The mesh brief screams good time!  I have tried a number of wide-mesh briefs over the years and this is by far one of my favorites.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the close-knit mesh briefs but have had mixed experiences with the wide-knit mesh.  What impressed me most is how soft and comfortable the mesh fabric was.  The fabric, made from 97% nylon/3% elastane, was very comfortable all day.  Sometimes the wide-knit mesh can be irritating or itchy after some time but not Homme.  I also enjoyed the gold snake-skin look waistband.  The black and gold combination is very attractive and adds to the wild side of fun!  For fit, I found the brief to be quite comfortable.  The brief sits low on the waist and has a full seat (which I appreciate).  Overall, a fantastic brief for a fun time out (or in).  I definitely recommend this to my friends and have added it to my favorite’s list.

This brief would be fabulous for Valentine’s Day!

Tribe’s Devore Brief and Short Boxer Review

Tribe hits it home again! This time, the home run is with their Black Devore fabric.  I tried the Black Devore in their brief and short boxer.  Sexy, classy luxury pretty much sums it up!  The Black Devore fabric has a velvet pattern across a mesh base, creating just enough transparency to keep things interesting.  The feel of the fabric is pure luxury.  The Devore fabric also comes in a sexy red.
The brief is cut wider on the hip than the slim side (which I reviewed earlier) for a great look and feel.  There was a comfortable fit in the front and adequate coverage in the rear.  The short boxer is also is quite comfortable in the front full coverage in the rear.  The legs of the short boxer are just that, short.  While they’re short, which creates a very attractive look, they’re also very comfortable and eliminates and problems with legs riding up.

I really, really like the Devore fabric in Tribe’s brief cut and short boxer.  Without a doubt, one of my personal favorites and I highly recommend either cut in the Devore fabric.  You may want to consider one of Tribe’s wash bags.  If you buy 3 pairs of Tribe you can get the wash bag free (you do this during check out).

Tribe Aspect Mesh Slim Side Brief Review…

The Tribe Slim Side Brief in abstract mesh is not just a good looking brief, it’s comfortable as well. The slim side brief is cut slim on the side and high on your hip for comfort and looks.  I tried the Tribe Slim Side Brief in abstract mesh, but it’s also available in other fabrics too.

I found the brief to have minimal coverage for an attractive look yet maintaining a good comfort level.  There was adequate room in front and full coverage for me in the rear (something that’s important to me.)  The front pouch is lined with abstract mesh and is less transparent than that of the rear. The Abstract Mesh creates a very sexy transparent mesh with a cool, abstract print (hence the name.)

I definitely recommend this brief if you looking for a sexy, mesh, comfortable brief.  If you fluctuate between two sizes on the size guide, you may want to consider going up a size – of course depending on if you typically fluctuate up or down on your size.

Male Power Stretch Mesh Mini Short Review – HOT!

The Stretch Mesh Mini Short by Male Power is simply hot!  Made from a fine sheer mesh, this mini short is hot for a fun evening out. Now, I will say that I wouldn’t pick this for daily wear but I would definitely wear these for a night out (or in).  The mini short, I chose red, leaves little to the imagination and little covered – just enough to keep things interesting.  I found the mini short to be reasonably comfortable for my night out and didn’t have to reposition things.  These are one of my favorites based on a hotness factor.

Male Power has a large selection from daily wear to evening wear (if you know what I mean).   Some resellers of Male Power include:

Made from 82% poysester/18%

N2N Bodywear Sheer Pants

The N2N Sheer Pants receive a good review.  I bought a size large, but should probably have bought a medium.  As usual, the sheer material is very comfortable and provides no secrets.  I purchased these for lounging when the kids are gone.  The size large isn’t tight enough to show things off, whereas the medium likely would have.  I’m going to give N2N the benefit of the doubt in reviewing these (when I pulled the material tighter, I got the look I was looking for).  If I get a medium pair, I’ll update the review.

I found the material and workmanship to be of good quality. The waistband was wrapped in the mesh and was also quite comfortable.  The legs were long, but again I should have bought a medium.

UPDATE: I have had other N2N pants since this review and found the medium, for me, to be the perfect size.

N2N Bodywear Net Bikini

The Net bikini is one of those that you wear when your kids are at grandma’s for the weekend.  They are comfortable to wear for a few hours (dinner out and dancing) but wouldn’t necessarily want to wear them all day long.  There is a seam in the rear for helping define your butt – it does the job but does give you that “riding up” feeling.  If you’re a fan of thongs, this may not bother you.
