As we wrote a few weeks ago, Bum-Chums has really seemed to have gained some traction this past year with their new underwear collections and earlier today we published a review on the Pink Peach Hip Brief (which we loved!).  Well, our love of Bum-Chums continues with their Sneak Peek Hip Brief.  Take everything we loved about the Pink Peach Hip Brief and make it mesh instead and now you have sexy AND comfortable!

Fit: The Sneak Peek hip brief fit very similar to the Pink Peach Hip Brief.  They very comfortable as an all-day pair of underwear, but with the sexiness of mesh, they’re fantastic for an evening out too! The material is obviously different (being mesh) and was comfortable and somewhat stretchy, but the same as the blend in the Pink Peach.  To that end, the Sneak Peek Hip Brief is a bit more snug of a fit.  While it’s a bit more snug, it was still very comfortable.  In the rear, Bum-Chums prides themselves in their bum-cupping cut which fully covers your butt while giving your cheeks a bit of lift for a nice round posterior – very nice!

Style: The Sneak Peek is quite sexy.  Now I am a bit biased towards mesh underwear, but there really is something super sexy about wearing mesh underwear.  As a hip brief, the more conservative guy can still wear these while the exhibitionist will happy as well.  All around, these will be sexy for any guy (though you may want to keep the forest trimmed if you know what I mean).

Fabric: The Hip Brief is made from a mesh Nylon/elastane/ Lycra mix . This mix creates a soft mesh that has just enough stretch to create a comfortable, snug material.

Quality: Overall, these are well made.  Creating comfortable, soft mesh is always a challenge and Bum-Chums did a fine job in their material selection.

Overall, I found these to be sexy, comfortable and very well made.  You should be happy with these if your looking for a mesh brief.

Bum-Chums recent release of the Tool Belt Brief and the In2Cooler Brief both brought awesome reviews.  While these latest additions stoked the fire at Bum-Chums, some of their original collections are equally as good.  Today’s review of the Pink Peach Hip Brief, from the Fruity Collection reminds us why we love Bum-Chums.

Fit: The hip brief was a very comfortable all-day pair of underwear.  Bum-Chums really pulls it all together with material selection, pouch design, and the rear cut as well. The material used is soft and stretchy, allowing it to mold to your body, support your package and not restrict movement.  The pouch is well sized for any size package and allows things to fit comfortably and non-binding.  In the rear, Bum-Chums prides themselves in their bum-cupping cut which fully covers your butt while giving your cheeks a bit of lift for a nice round posterior.

Style: The hip brief by itself would be fairly standard if it weren’t for the bum-cupping cut and the vibrant colors.  The Pink Peach is part of the Fruity Collection, which includes Cherry, Blue-Berry, Lemon Lush, and Plum Purple too.  All of these colors are bold, vibrant colors that really make these hip briefs stand out.  What could have been a boring hip brief is now full of life!

Fabric: The Bum-Chums Pink Peach Hip Brief is made from a Nylon/Elastane/Lycra mix.  The result is, as I stated above, a soft and stretchy material.  I found the material to be very comfortable all around.

Quality: Overall, these are well made.

Overall, I really liked these hip briefs and can see them as a standard go-to brief when looking for all-day comfort.  Kudos to Bum-Chums for such a comfortable brief.

You may recall the post we did in January on the new line of underwear coming from Petit-Q.  The line promised sexy, unique underwear to really spice things up.  Well, today we have the opportunity to write a review on the Petit-Q String Ohlala.  What’s really challenging about writing this review is that the String Ohlala is incredibly versatile.  you can wear this as a thong, bulge-boosting strap, or pouch.  All of this is accomplished with simple snaps to get the look you’re after.

Fit: The String Ohlala was quite comfortable for the type of undergarment it is.  While this is comfortable enough to wear as daily-wear, I generally think of this as an evening out type of underwear.  The versatility of the String Ohlala really allows you to decide how you want it to fit.  As a thong, it was comfortable and as a pouch it was equally as comfortable.  You could also wear this is a bulge-strap under any other pair of underwear you own.

Style: Made in black only, it’s pretty simple in that aspect.  As you move beyond color, though, you’ll appreciate the style for what it offers.  The String Ohlala is very sexy and truly gives you a unique look.  After an evening out, simply unsnap the pouch covering and you’re all set for the lots of fun for the remainder of the night.

Fabric: The fabric is comfortable and soft to the touch.  While there are traditional snaps, you don’t have to worry about the feel of them against your skin as they’re well-placed.

Quality: The String Ohlala appear to be well made.

Overall, I was impressed with the versatility these provide.  Giving me the option on how I’d like to wear these was wonderful and I like that you can also use it as a bulge-booster under other underwear I own.

Earlier this week Menswear Review reviewed the Toot Evening Dots boxer and gave it high marks.  Today I have the please of reviewing another Toot boxer.  I was surprised by the Toot Fruit Trunks by their design and fabric and comfort. The trunk has super stretchy full coverage in both front and back. The body of the trunk is nylon for a smooth and silky feel and there is a cotton panel between the front and rear.

Fit: The trunk offers full coverage. It rides below the natural waist. It is comfortable and supportive. The leg comes to the about upper-mid thigh. There is a cotton panel between the front pouch and rear for absorption and odor control – very nice!

Style: This is a typical short boxer fit. There is full coverage in the front and rear with sexy short legs.  The short boxer creates a look for you.

Fabric: The Toot Fruit Trunk is made of 89% Nylon/11% Polyurethane. It is very stretchy and molds nicely to your body without feeling too tight or restrictive.

Quality: The Toot Fruit Trunk appears to be of high quality and stitching is well done.

Overall, I was very impressed with this brief and the quality of workmanship and materials.

Today, I reviewed Toot’s new Evening Dot Boxer. These are a fun boxer with, what else, dots all over them.
The front pouch is roomy and comfortable. The waist band is non-binding, does not roll and is very
comfortable. There is also a contrast color of material between the pouch and seat just to add some
interest.

Fit: The boxer offers full coverage of everything. The pouch is both supportive and comfortable. The leg is cut to just
the top of the thigh and can ride up a little bit – though not overly bothersome.

Style: This is a fitted-boxer style pair of underwear. This equates to full coverage in the rear and short sexy legs – think of it as being in-between briefs and boxer-briefs.  The dots add great style to these trunks for a fun, festive night out or simply for looking good any day of the week.

Fabric: The Toot’s Evening Dot is made of 93% Cotton/7% Polyurethane. The resulting material is soft, stretchy,
and sturdy.  The use of Polyerethane gives you a nice body fitting fabric and a fabric that retains its shape after multiple washes.

Quality: The Toot’s Evening Dot is made of high quality material and the stitching is well done to ensure lasting wear.

Overall, I enjoyed this boxer. I was a little concerned about the placement of the panel between the
pouch and rear as I thought it might be bothersome but found it didn’t bother me.

A few weeks back, I introduced you to Hurmoso through a brand profile blog post.  Hurmoso is one of the hottest new men’s underwear lines to hit this highly competitive market. Hurmoso was created by “Pissarro” (Pissarro T. Hall) an artist from New York City that has been working in high-end fashion & advertising for the last 10 years. Pissarro tells us that, “Today our niche remains confident, daring, provacitve and sexy guys.”  Based on my first review, their collections nails this niche audience square on the head!

Fit: I’ve written several times now on how much I love the fit of C-In2, as you know a highly popular brand.  The easiest way for me to explain how comfortable the new Hurmoso Stretch Cotton Brief is is to simply compare it as an equal to my favorite C-In2 briefs.  And that is a huge compliment!

The Hurmoso Stretch Cotton Brief is a traditional hip brief in fit and where it sits on your hips.  What sets this brief apart is the comfortable pouch that gives you both great comfort and support.  In addition, the Stretch Cotton brief has a full seat that fit perfectly.  I didn’t have any issues with riding up and didn’t have to adjust either the front or back once during the day.  The wide waistband was also quite comfortable and aided in the overall day-long comfort of this wonderful new brief.

Style: The Stretch Cotton brief is quite attractive, though still pretty much on the conservative macho look.  The waistband is what sets the brief as a fashionable brief. The wide waistband with Hurmoso written across in large letters makes the brief pop in contrast to the solid colored brief.

Fabric: The Stretch Cotton brief is made from a high quality blend of 95% Cotton 5% Elastane.  The material is of a high grade and was quite comfortable and durable.  The comfort of a good grade of cotton really does make all the difference when using a cotton blend for underwear.  The little bit of Elastane used gives you the stretch to the fabric you need for both fit and form retention.  Kudos to Hurmoso on their selection of material.

Quality: High quality was quite evident in the selection of material, quality waistband, and stitching.  You will be well satisfied with the quality of these briefs.

Overall, I loved these briefs. The fit, quality, and style make these a top pick.
