Black Chunky Mesh Brief Review

Tribe is one of my favorite brands. I really like how Tribe tries to go beyond the ordinary and use some great cuts and fabrics. My most recent review of Tribe in on their Chunky Mesh Brief. With this being a mesh brief, not much is left to the imagination.

The entire brief is made from the soft chunky mesh. The pouch, however, is lined with 100% modal material for comfort and to leave something for the imagination. I found the chunky mesh and the modal lining to be quite comfortable for a mesh brief. I am a 34 inch waist and often hover between sizes. Typically, I’ve worn the medium in Tribe (32-34). The cut of the Chunky Mesh brief seemed to be a bit tighter and probably could have gone with the large instead (34-36). Tribes sizing is true to size so stick with the chart. If you fit into to sizes, I’d probably go a size up on the Chunky Mesh brief.

For wearing, I don’t know that these would be my first pick for a long day in a business suit. For a night out under a pair of jeans, I’d easily grab these. I always find it a bit exciting knowing that you’re wearing something hot in anticipation of events yet to come (wink).
