Bon Bon Upgrade Gold Brief – A Review
Last week I wrote about the AWESOME Bon Bon Colours Collection Trunk and today I’m excited to write on the Bon Bon Upgrade Gold Brief!
The Bon Bon Upgrade Gold Briefs are made from the same fantastic 90% micro modal/10% spandex blend I wrote about in my Bon Bon Colours Trunk review. To put it short, when you think of Bon Bon think LUXURY. Seriously, these are incredibly soft and of really high quality. Every aspect of this brief is a winner! What I really love about the use of micro modal is that it’s not only incredibly soft but it’s naturally antimicrobal as well – eliminating odors when you sweat.
The waistband is a beautiful gold material and features an award-like logo patch with the little Bon Bon man hanging down. When you look at the close-up pic you’ll see that it looks like you’ve won first prize. Now, what you’re winning first prize for, well who knows … For fit, I found the briefs to fit very well. The pouch was wonderfully soft and supportive with ample stretch when needed. The rear is full coverage and was very comfortable. These, quite simply, are one of those pairs of underwear you’ll continue to pull out of your drawer first.
While packaging doesn’t make them feel any better, it is nice when underwear comes in attractive packaging. With Bon Bon Upgrade Gold, they come in a nice little gold box that can be reused for something else or to be used as the wrapping itself if given as a present.
All-in-all, I absolutely love Bon Bon – both the Upgrade Gold brief I just reviewed as well as their trunk. Available in blue or white and in a brief or trunk, you can’t go wrong. Check out Bon Bon’s website to see more of the Upgrade Gold and their other fine collections. A favorite of mine and highly recommended. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money.

Anonymous…Having tried Bon Bon's brief and trunk and can tell you that they are of unusually high quality. I apologize if my review didn't come across this way, but this is luxury underwear line. Compared to Zimmerli who sells theirs at $55, Bon Bon at $38 isn't bad. Quality of material and craftsmanship varies greatly between some brands. You really can't compare a $7 pair with the quality of a $38 pair (usually). And, being a new brand you're going to see higher prices now but would expect to see sales as they start appearing with additional retailers.
I can honestly say that while I'm fit I don't have a super model body and the Bon Bon fit me extremely well. So, not a pumped up jock and not super rich, but if I wanted to splurge, I'd easily do it with Bon Bon.
