You may recall the review we did on the 2Xist Military No Show Trunk a bit ago – which we loved! As I've said before, every time I try on a pair of 2(x)ist underwear I walk away quite pleased with my new discovery. Time and time again, I have found 2(x)ist to be an incredibly comfortable, stylish, and quality-made brand. My review of the Military No Show brief leaves me as a raving fan!
Fit: The No-Show Brief is a no-show, think lowrise, with what 2Xist calls an ultra-contoured pouch – which basically means and ergonomic pouch design to actually fit a man's assets with a gentle lift and lots of support. I found the 2Xist Military No Show Brief to be amongst the most comfortable briefs I've tried. I love the ultra-pouch and love, love, love the full seat.
When a designer can give the sexiness of a lowrise and STILL give you full rear coverage, they've accomplished greatness in my book! Seriously, one of my biggest complaints on briefs is when they constantly ride up all day. I can say that I honestly didn't have to readjust once – neither in the pouch or butt – during the entire day. I tried these briefs on a couple of different occassions – for shoot buckets with friends, under jeans for a night out, and under by business suit. In all situations, I found the Military No Show Brief very comfortable.
I should also mention how the tag with the size and fabric information is attached to center back interior of waistband and is mounted sideways. This is really important for avoiding the all-too-aggravating itchiness many labels leave us. By mounting it sideways, you always have the wash instructions. I tend to cut all of my labels off as I can't stand that feeling, but with the 2Xist Military No Show Brief, I didn't have to –THANK YOU!
Style: The Military range comes in black, white, lead, green-camo, black-camo, and army-green. The pair I tried was in white and loved the contrast of the wide elastic waistband with the embossed logo, in combination with the contrasting stitching on the seems; this really is a beautiful brief. The picture really doesn't do it just in understanding how the contrasting triple-needled stitching really sets the white fabric off for a really sharp look.
Fabric: I absolutely loved the fabric they used. Made from Pique-Fle(X) Cotton: 57% Cotton, 37% Modal, 6% Spandex, you'll find the material to have a subtle pattern to it, a luxury sheen, and incredible soft and comfortable. I really, no really, like this material choice.
Quality: Quality is one thing 2(x)ist is well known for. As I've consistently written about 2(x)ist, the one thing I can always count on with 2(x)ist is quality – period. I always know that when I try a pair of 2(x)ist that I will find superior fabrics, great styles, and outstanding quality.
Overall, I am elated with the 2(x)ist Military Range No-Show Brief. I count these amongst my 10 most favorite briefs I've worn.
