In response to the runaway success of its 2015 swimwear line, which included new Mondrian Brief and Brazil Cut swimwear, Modus Vivendi has brought out a whole new Mondrian-inspired line of underwear and sportswear for its Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 collection.
Inspired by the abstract paintings of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, the new line uses strong color blocks in rectangular form to create a bold visual impact and an upbeat, confident style. Briefs, boxers and tank tops come in strong color palettes, with pure reds, yellows and blues combining with absolute black and white.
The collection is handcrafted in Greece by Modus Vivendi’s skilled artisans using the finest materials available. English photographer Gavin Harrison was selected to create the images for the new campaign. Modus Vivendi tells us his experience in the world of fine art, his appreciation of color and direct photographic style made him the perfect choice. The photo shoot took place in Leicester, England and featured new boy Phillip Sharp from Celsius Models. Strong images and a strong collection for Autumn/Winter 2015-2016.
